EFL "CHANDLER MEDAL NIGHT"

8 Sep 2014 by North Ringwood FC Committee

Hi Sainters

We are now in the final but biggest week of the 2014 Season as we start to prepare to take on Croydon this Saturday in the Grand Final.

But before we get there we need to congratulate some of our players and our Senior Coach who have all been invited to hopefully take home some individual awards.

Firstly we have our Senior Coach, Brett Moyle who has been invited this Wednesday night to the “Eastern Region Coach of the Year” night. Brett has been selected in the SENIOR COACH category. If Brett can take this home will be so well deserved. While it is based on this year it will be hard to overlook a young man who is just about to lead his men into their 3rd Grand Final in 5 years, best of luck Moyley.

Would also like to wish Steve Tragardh who is head of the North Ringwood Auskick who has also been nominated in the AUSKICK category, good luck mate you have done a fantastic job this year.

Then next Monday it is the EFL “Chandler Medal Night” which is the leagues Presentation night. We have 6 of our Senior Boys that have been ask to attend, which good be very dangerous especially if we win on Saturday given that it is “Mad Monday” also!

Firstly we have Jack Whelan who has been invited down for the Division 2 “Kenneth Wright M.B.E Medal” (Best & Fairest). Jacko has had a brilliant year and goes in as one of the favorites. Jack won the Division 3 “Paul Edie Medal” in 2012 and at only 21 would be a huge effort and achievement to take home his second league B&F.

We also have Simon “Soupy” Campbell who has been invited down for the “Veterans” Best & Fairest. Simon has had a great year being the leading goal scorer in the Vets this year with 31 goals and a big reason why our Vets made it into their first ever Grand Final on Sunday just gone.

Best of luck to both Jacko & Soupy.

We also have 6 players that have been named in a 30 man squad for the Division 2 “SEN Team of the Year”. On the night the final 22 player team will be announced. Good luck to the players below.

Jack Whelan Jayden Van Unen Heath Decker James Dean Curtis Dunne Tim Jones Good luck to all players, but lets hope we are all there as “PREMIERSHIP” players

GO SAINTS!
