Hi Sainters

If it was not exciting enough to see our boys win the Grand Final final on Saturday it was just as equally exciting to see just how much young talent our list has under the age of 23.

One such person is Tim Jones, our hard attacking half back flanker come midfielder who has had a great year but saved one of his best till Saturday.

Tim, still only 20 who won the Young Gun nomination back in Round 11, but on Saturday went won step better when he was presented with the “The Blue Ribbon” medal for Best on Ground in our Grand Final win over Croydon.

Congratulations Tim, while the winners medal will always take pride of place to win the BOG in the Grand Final is a huge honor and one very well deserved, well done champ.

The EFL have been strong supporters of the :“Blue Ribbon Foundation” for a long time now, so to win this award is very special.

The Blue Ribbon Foundation Perpetuates the memory of members of the Victoria Police killed in the line of duty through the support of worthwhile community projects within Victoria. Well done Tim
