This year the EFL introduce their own “Ladies Netball Competition” to be run through the Football Clubs, a very similar competition that has been happening for years with great success in regional areas.
It has been a great success in season 2014 with 10 clubs fielding sides, East Ringwood, Croydon, Norwood, Wantirna Sth, Ringwood, Coldstream (2 sides), Mooroolbark, Blackburn, Mitcham and Boronia (2 sides).
The competition is run on Friday nights at the Eastern Indoor Sports Center in Knoxfield, with all games on the same night starting at 7 with last games at 9.30.
What i would like to do is see if there are any Mums, Wife’s, Girlfriends, Sisters or Daughters that may be interested in playing for the "North Ringwood Football/Netball Club in season 2015 to see if it is worth us lodging a side for next year.
It would be great to have our own Netball side to be part of us and to be included in all things we do on and off the field.
Just for the records “Boronia Gold” took out the title over Croydon in the first ever EFL Netball Competition. Not a good year for the Croydon Football/Netball Club!
